Masters

Jeong Soo Hong

Master Hong began teaching with Master Rho in 2008. He came to the USA in 2005 and taught Taekwondo for two years in Whittier, California prior to joining our staff. He is originally from Seoul, South Korea, and has studied Taekwondo since he was 8 years old. While in Korea, Master Hong earned his 5 Dan WTF Black Belt and was a member of a Korean National Competition Team where he gained tournament sparring experience.

Byung Kyu Choi

Master Choi began teaching with Master Rho in 2007. He came to the USA in 2005 prior to joining our staff. He is originally from Seoul, South Korea, and graduated from Kyung Hee University like Master Rho. While in Korea, Master Choi earned his 5 Dan WTF Black Belt and now teaches Taekwondo primarily at our La Habra location.

Instructors

Dominic Belletti

Instructor Dominic began training under Master Rho in 1996 as a 1 Dan WTF Black Belt and has since earned his 4 Dan WTF Black Belt. Dominic currently instructs the adults classes and often judges the belt promotion tests alongside Master Rho.

Jonathan Poon

Instructor Jonathan began training under Master Rho in January 1997. He has since earned his 3 Dan WTF Black Belt and he normally instructs both the children and adults classes. Jonathan graduated from the Long Beach Police Academy in July 2007 and is currently working full-time in law enforcement and teaching taekwondo as often as his schedule permits. 

Philip Loveridge

Instructor Philip began training under Master Rho in 1996. After a two year mission to Japan, he returned to the studio and has since earned his 3 Dan WTF Black Belt. Philip normally instructs the Saturday children's class as often as his schedule permits.

Deyo Glines

Instructor Deyo began training under Master Rho in 1999 and has since earned his 2 Dan WTF Black Belt. He currently instructs both the children and adults classes.

Dan Bass

Instructor Dan began training under Master Rho in January 2001 and has since earned his 2 Dan WTF Black Belt. He currently instructs the adults classes and assists with the children classes. Dan is also responsible for maintaining our web site.
